Our 100 % Wholewheat is milled from Gilchesters Farm’s heritage grains and the finest UK organic grains, and is ideal for hand made loaves. Through the natural high Gluten content this flour produces a remarkably “light” wholemeal loaf. It rises extremely well and keeps its structure. We pack our best-seller in 1.5 and 3 kg bags and you can find recipes on the side of the bag.

Our tip: try our 100 % Wholewheat for a delicious Apple & Walnut Cake. A wonderful moist cake that keeps well. Find the instructions on the recipe page.

    This is the best tasting whole wheat flour in the country, possibly in the world! Not only does it have a wonderful, nutty flavour, it has incredible performance. It absorbs a lot of water (more bread for your flour) and it is super strong so it rises really well. Finally, it’s beautifully milled – not remotely “branny”. I cannot recommend it enough.

    Most wholewheat flours don’t really have anything…. Except fibre!! not this ! Slight nutty flavour. Lovely texture. From when you open the packet you know you’ve got quality. It’s absolutely great in cakes , combines well with the white flour for a great and ‘healthy’ cake mix. Highly recommend
