Ingredients
- 200g stoneground wholemeal flour
- 100g stoneground white flour
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 200ml buttermilk
- 200ml full fat milk
- 50g golden syrup
- 50g black treacle
Method
Preheat oven to 200c
- Mix all of the ingredients together for the bread
- Shape into a round and pop onto a tray dusted with extra flour
- Score 6 times
- Bake at 200c for 10 to 15 minutes
